Many of our interns return for multiple terms, building experience that helps launch successful careers long after graduation.

Tim Nguyen – Project Coordinator Intern
Currently studying Mining and Mineral Processing Engineering at Queen’s University, Tim brings a strong interest in mining project development, mineral processing, mine remediation, and operational optimization. Having previously worked with TMG, he has already contributed to abandoned mine remediation initiatives, technical research, NI 43-101 reviews, project scheduling, and market analysis.
Martina Pan – Business Coordinator Intern
Martina is pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce at Queen’s University’s Smith School of Business. She joins TMG with experience as a Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst at Solen Software Group, bringing valuable business insight and analytical skills to support our teams.
Andrea Dovale-Puig – Project Coordinator Intern
Andrea is entering her fifth year of Applied Mathematics and Computer Engineering at Queen’s University. Her previous internships span web development, information technology, and software-related projects, complemented by active involvement in university clubs and campus initiatives.
Elston Li – Project Coordinator Intern
A Mining Engineering student at Queen’s University, Elston joined TMG in May 2026 and will complete a 16-month term with the organization. His experience includes mine planning, ventilation modeling, and rock mechanics, as well as cleantech-focused internships involving hydrothermal carbonization and investor-facing engineering work in Malaysia.
Charleigh Priestman – Project Coordinator Intern
Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering, Charleigh has been part of TMG through a 16-month co-op placement since May 2025. She has delivered significant automation and process improvements across business development, risk analysis, and CRM systems, including automated lead generation and assignment workflows built with n8n, Java, OpenRouter, and API integrations.

Kenny MacEwen is President of TMG and a senior execution leader with over two decades of experience delivering complex projects across the mining, energy, and infrastructure sectors. With a foundation in mechanical engineering and a track record spanning both Owner and consulting roles, Kenny has led multidisciplinary teams through all phases of the project lifecycle—from early studies and permitting support through detailed engineering, construction, and commissioning. His experience includes overseeing large-scale programs at New Gold and Centerra Gold Inc., where he aligned technical, commercial, and operational objectives across high-value global portfolios.
At TMG, Kenny leads the integration of project delivery frameworks that support Owner-side governance, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional execution. He is deeply involved in developing workface planning models, ensuring interface risks are actively managed, and advancing readiness strategies that position assets for seamless transition to operations. His leadership extends across EPC coordination, budget stewardship, and the application of risk-adjusted scheduling tools to maintain project momentum. Kenny is recognized for fostering team cohesion in high-pressure environments while ensuring technical rigor and delivery accountability remain front and center.
